Easy Delicious Soft Bread With Filling

Living in the rural area is not easy, especially if you came from a big city where all the necessities are available, and there are all kinds of food! So much new things and skills have to be learned. The food that we can’t get here is fresh bread. After tried a few recipes, I’ve got the perfect one! It makes a tasty and soft bread. Even my son can make it! So easy!
Easy Delicious Soft Bread With Filling
Ingredients :
500 gr all purpose flour
11 gr instant yeast
1 egg
250 ml milk
100 gr sugar
50 ml cooking oil
Topping:
Oregano
Parmesan cheese
Egg yolk
Filling:
Whatever you like! Ham, smoke beef, sausages, meat, or cheddar cheese, whatever you like!
Methods:
Mix all ingredients, knead until smooth. I usually used a stand mixer, so I can make bread while I clean up the house.
Place it in a lightly oiled bowl to prove. Leave to prove for 15 minutes until doubled in size or place in the fridge overnight.
Knock back the dough, then gently mold it into a small ball, or braid it as you wish. At this step, you can fill the dough with the filling. Place it on a baking tray lined with parchment to prove for 15 minutes until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 150˚C
After 15 minutes, rub the top of the dough with egg yolk, sprinkle with oregano and parmesan cheese.
Bake until golden brown (about 30 minutes) and the bread sounds hollow when tapped underneath. Cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy your bread!
