Choco Lava Cake

chocolate lava cake
This cake in a mug is so yummy, and the taste is so…. chocolate! I like to make it, especially for Christmas eve, birthday celebration, or everyday desert. The cake is easy to make, you don’t have to be expert at cooking to bake this cake. However, you have to know that the cake mixture is not as thick as common cakes. the mixture is liquid. And don’t worry, you don’t have to whisk the egg until stiff.
If you like, you can add some rum or kahlua into the choco lava cake. One tablespoon of rum will add a heaven sensation… hhmmmm…. totally delicious! Choco lava cake is firm on the top, but soft inside. If you scooped the upper cake, you will see the “lava” inside the cake. This cake do not need a long time to bake. The longer you bake, the lava will be solid.
Ingredients:
180 gr bittersweet chocolate
250 gr butter
4 eggs
130 gr sugar
75 gr flour
Method:
Preheat the oven.
Microwave the butter and bittersweet chocolate in a large bowl on high until the butter is melted, about 1 minute. Whisk until the chocolate is melted.
Whisk egg and sugar until blended, stir in the flour and melted chocolate+butter until well blended.
Put into the mug, and bake until the upper side firm, about 13 minutes.
Be careful, the lava is very hot! But totally yummy!
